The Never Ending Quest - Episode 62378

Suddenly a bunch of guards burst into the room, all of their swords pointed at 'Fred' the rogue knight. 'King Emry' screamed, "KILL HIM! NOW! BEFORE HE KILLS ME!" "No." The leader of tonight's watch said. "First, we must know who to kill. Both of your voices have echoed throughout this mighty estate, and I... am utterly dumbfounded. Tell me your stories." As 'Fred' had been distracted, a guard wrenched the sword out of his hands. Noting that it was cold to the touch, the guard had tossed it out the window, where it fell... then shattered like ice, and melted away. "I shall explain," 'Fred' began. "NO! I shall explain." 'King Emry' interrupted. "ONE! AT! A! TIME!" The captain demanded. "Or I shall hang you both." He whispered maliciously. "Fine." 'King Emry' conceded. "This lunatic shall speak first." 'Fred' Explain how he was sitting in this chamber one moment, then in a cave the next. 'King Emry' claimed that there as nothing to explain, and that Lord Frederigo was obviously mad, in more ways than one. The guards, not knowing which spoke the truth, decided that they would execute one of them tomorrow morning, so that there would be no further confusion.

  1. They threw 'Fred' into the dungeon, leaving 'King Emry' to decide how he would possibly imitate the patterns of someone he barely knew.
  2. They threw 'King Emry' into the dungeon, leaving 'Fred' to determine how he would get his country's people to trust him again.
  3. Both 'Fred' and 'King Emry' escaped, reluctantly aiding each other, knowing that both their lives were ruined beyond repair.
