Within seconds Vincent had sprung to his feet and all those who had been waiting were staring in horror, but no one could think of what to say. The four girls trailing after Pronklezilch and giggling inanely were perfectly identical, right down to the large smiles on their faces. It was impossible even to tell which ones were newly transformed, let alone discern who each individual had originally been.
Pronklezilch looked enormously pleased with himself. "I should start my own brothel," he said.
"Pronklezilch!" Vincent exclaimed, eyes still wide with shock. "What have you done? Why?"
The wizard shrugged. "I cast a spell, two of these darlings were trying to undo it, I took umbrage and did something useful with the situation."
The four women giggled collectively. Not one of them gave even the barest hint that she was rightly one of said two darlings.

Pronklezilch's gaze rested on Vincent. "In fact, you are the only one left here who might still interfere." He crossed his arms. "I'd rather not subject you to the same fate; we have history; that would be awkward. Are you going to make me?"

Pronklezilch's gaze swept the room, landing on Princess Astra. He narrowed his eyes. "What are you? You have magic inside you."

"Pronklezilch," said Vincent, "I really must insist that you restore them. I am told you felt your pride was insulted, but I am sure that they have learned their lesson by now."

"Tell you what, though," Pronklezilch said. "Since we were close friends once, I'll leave them with you, Vincey. You don't have to thank me." He tilted his conical hat, and vanished.

He continued, "And it has been infinitely diverting. In fact," and here he waved his hand, "there. In a matter of hours these two," and he gestured to Helia and Princess Astra, "will have much the same mindset as these four. A gift from me to you."

Pronklezilch waved his hand, and he disappeared, along with the four girls he had bewitched.
