Buy Clothes? How?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 62256

"But I don't have any money," Fred said. "The Story Cops took all my possessions before putting me in the cell with you, and they never gave them back. All I have is what I'm wearing. And no, I'm not selling that. So I can't buy you any clothes."

"Won't the King give you a loan? Apart from getting some clothes for me, I assume that you'll be expected to pay for this hotel room."

"Me? Why me? Why can't you pay for it?"

"Because I'm even less in a position to do so than you are. Besides, you as good as admitted that it was you who chose the option that landed us here, so it's only right that you should be the one to pay."

  1. Fred and Astra continue bickering.
  2. Fred goes to see if he can get hold of some money, leaving Astra behind in the room.
  3. They smell smoke and then there are shouts of "Fire!" They have to evacuate the hotel.
  4. Just then, someone knocks on the door of their room.
  5. Astra fashions herself an improvised toga out of a bedsheet.
