As she was pondering this, a large woman wearing a bright purple dress and too much eye makeup came bustling down the hall. "Lock yourself out again, honey?" she said, taking in the sight of Stacy standing there staring forlornly at her locked door. "Tsk. All that book-learnin' and you'd still forget your head if it wasn't attatched. Well, I'm just off to see the super; I'll tell him to come down and let you in."

1. And before Stacy could get a word in edgewise, the woman bustled off again.
2. Stacy grabbed the woman by the shoulders. "You know me!" she exclaimed.
