"Greeting Daughter of Eve," Aslan purrs, looking directly at a blinking me. "Rejoice and be happy for the time for the process of Unity is at hand."

Now, thankfully I am very much centered and over the traumas of the intended betrayals that one Gendo Ikari had intended. In other words, I do not do some knee jerk (trauma induced) jumping to conclusions that Aslan is somehow speaking of Instrumentality (the FORCED joining of Man and God . . . the arrogance!).

Besides, it is not like I can actually somehow be PART of initiating Third Impact or anything else like it, in any case. Being no longer a NGE (Neon Genesis Evangelion) Angel makes that a no brainer. Heck, I'm not even a "daughter of Lilith" any more, but though Celestrial actions . . . a daughter of Eve.

The process I went through in becoming what I am NOW by that Celestrial saw to that (thank God).

No, instead I know that it is of something else, more benign (though earth shaking enough).

What exactly "unity" is, of course, remains to be seen.

And all that said, though, I must admit that Aslan is quiet the charmer. Greeting me like that.

He then goes on and greets the other by the various "parentage" they carry (Inquirer being a daughter of silicon fits her rather nicely). As what proper good manner dictate, we reply in kind in the way of greetings.

However, we all know that he had not come by to chat and have tea. While he does on occassion talk with others (Inquirer being one who comes to mind), usually there is a lot of travel of SOME kind involved. What I mean is that for "casual" talks you come to him. Not the reverse.

Usually, that is. There has been once or twice he HAD just dropped by for a chitchat. A little disconcerting, such a regal figure doing that but he's done that.

But in this case, when he is on business then he shall show up whenever or wherever needed . . .no matter what distance (mundane or extra-diminsional) lay between.

That said, being that he addressed me first I DO believe I shall be the one to ask the burning question as what protocol demands.

"So lord Aslan," I begin. "What brings you to Terra Prime and us? What can we do to assist in this . . . coming of Unity, was it not?"

1. "What exactly do you mean by Unity?"
