"What are you saying, my Queen?" Fred asked, confused. Fred had only laid
eyes on the Queen once, as she rarely left her corridor. He was shocked to
see that the rumors were false, as she was actually a beautiful, kind (if a
bit wacko) woman. The two talked about the scenario in which Fred would kill the King. They decided that it was best if he were to enter the castle disguised as a servant and slit his throat when the opportunity arose. Of course, concealed weapons are strictly forbidden on the castle grounds, so the murder would have to take place elsewhere. Luckily, the King and his Queen were preparing to go on vacation on the upcoming weekend. She would grant him a job on the carriage that was taking them there, and that is where he would do the King in. Fred was still in a state of shock by the Queen's willingness to end her husband's life, so he asked her, "Why do you want the King dead?" She responded, "I've been waiting for this opportunity for ages. As you know, I married into the throne, and we have no immediate relatives alive right now. If the King were to die, I would have control of the throne, as soon as Duke Zular is taken care of as well." Fred clenched his fist. This job was sounding more and more troublesome, but also more rewarding. He agreed to help the Queen kill the King and more importantly, Zular. "There is one other thing," the Queen said softly as Fred was getting ready to make his escape. "When the King is dead, I will need a new husband." Fred gulped. "I have the whole kingdom to work with, but I only have such incriminating things to say of you, Frederigo." She walked up to him and gently kissed him on the lips. Fred remained stoic. "Your options are clear. Kill Zular, kill the king, marry me, become King, become rich beyond anything you could have ever imagined, and do whatever I say. Your other option? Die where you stand. Fred knew the choice was clear.
