The change in setting was instant. One second, Fred had been diving towards the water, completely blinded and soaked by the mist and the next, he was in what looked like a small living room of a luxurious house. The room was very old-fashioned, with a giant bookshelf of religious books, a table serving tea and coffee in mugs, paintings of angels, religious-themed decorations hanging on the wall, vases holding the most vibrant flowers he had ever seen, as well as other nice touches. It was a very cozy room.
Fred found himself seating on an exceptionally-comfortable couch in the middle of the room. He was no longer wet or cold or even clothed: He was as naked as the day he was born. He wasn't sure what to think or what was going on, but he got his answer when I saw the doorway and what the sign next it said: Waiting Room of Heaven. You will be called to be judged promptly. Until then, make yourself comfortable.Fred was so surprised, he simply blurted the first thing that came to mind, setting be damned. "Holy shit! Granas does exist!" What was going to happen to him? He hadn't exactly been a saint before he died.
