Waking the Dragon

"Let's keep going," Fred suggests, keeping his voice down to a whisper. "I
don't like this. I don't like this at all."
Fred leads his party down and around the sleeping dragon. Just as they're almost clear of the dragon, Rikki spots, amidst the scattered treasures, a small hoard of cheese. With his ratman's whiskers twitching, he advances on the cheese and gathers them up in his arms. "My preciousssssssss," he whispers. Fred tries to coax Rikki back onto the path so they can go on and find the real dargon's nest. As Rikki returns to the party, he happens to trip over a strategically flung crown and falls, disturbing everything shiney and pretty withing a 7 foot radius. He also happens to make a terrible noise. Fred holds his breath, counting slowly to five. He barely makes it to one and a half when the dragon rolls over and opens one lazy golden eye at the three of you.
