Astra opens the cage door and pulls Fred to his feet, "Get up, Fred...you
whine like a mule."
All of a sudden the stench gets stronger. Astra whispers "The Beast is upon us." This brief sentence is followed by a sickly green light that fills the cave they are in...followed by a horrible shriek from a black hairy mound with two eyes, the green light radiating from them, and six tentacles, dripping pus off the ends of its oily black hair. Fred gets his wits back and scans the room quickly with his eyes...
