The seething cloud of blackness was the last strike by Satan. It succeeds
in destroying the world. Time passes...such as it is. Fred and Astra were pulled aside in the Afterlife by Security and escored to God's office. God was a tiny, elderly, smiling, black-haired man in black and white checkered robes and light blue sandals. He sat behind a big redwood desk that was decorated with pictures of His family. Behind him the walls were all window, which looked out over the Heavenly Forest Preserve. The Preserve was a billion miles away but of course it was God's Office. God offers them some tea. Of course they accept. After some pleasent chit-chat, God gets down to business. He wants Fred and Astra to lead ten Angels into hell, as a reconnoisance mission. It's time to destroy Satan once and for all. Fred speaks (or thinks, it's not quite clear here). 'What about your powers? Isn't Satan nothing to you?' "Satan is tricky. He managed to twist the cosmic strings long ago. I could easily destroy him but I need to defeat him in a war for the Earth to be able to come back. Damn Rules. I tried to have the Rules oveturned but Father said no." Fred ponders the question. God makes sure the two know that this is strictly voluntary. They could say no and be garunteed a peaceful eternity with family and friends.
