The Never Ending Quest - Episode 6000

Fred the newt wanders off to kill the dragon.
Fred is so small that he doesn't even register on the dragon's radar. This is annoying. His scales were too small and...geeze, hopelessness abounds.
Fred spent several weeks living in the dragon's lair, eating flies attracted by dead corpses and poop and other things the dragon's lackeys produced.
Fred got an idea. Day in and day out he tracked poop all over the dragon. Soon the monster got a raging bacterial infection and died.
The release of magic due to the death of the powerful creature obliterated the spell that had been holding Fred as a newt.
He resupplied himself from the armory, took the dragon's eyes as a sign and went back to the castle for a hero's welcome.
But the fun didn't last. A week after...

  1. they were invaded by the armies of the Three Kingdoms.
  2. the king fell ill.
  3. Fred was hit by a crushing case of depression. Unfortunately mental health care was not so good back then.
  4. the wine cellar was taken by terrorists. They had several noblewomen hostage.
  5. a spell of silliness was cast on the castle by an enemy of the king.
  6. a vampire was found. It was killed but who knows how many others it had infected?
  7. Fred lost his shoes. (Okay...)
  8. Fred fell in love with a woman who was mean and heartless and manipulative.
  9. Fred is sent out to kill another dragon.
  10. the eyeballs are stolen.
