Aimonn Confirms Fred's Fears

Aimonn seems delighted with Fred's decision, while Billy looked out of a
window trying to find where the laughter was coming from. The elder saw
the slight frown that crossed Fred's face at this, and beckoned him
over. "Young Billy acts as if he's never seen a female in a fair while.
Are you worried he might try and get one of the young women to sleep with
him?" Fred was taken back by Aimonn's forthrightness, but nodded. "Is there much chance of that happening? It's a situation I'd rather like to avoid." Aimonn looked at Billy for a second before facing Fred again. "There is a strong chance of that happening, Fred. When they find out what he's - what you've both - done, they will willingly offer themselves. I mean, who wouldn't like to boast they gave birth to a hero's baby?" Fred slumped. "Not what I wanted to hear." Billy would think he was in heaven. He paused. "What about the men? Wouldn't they have something to say about it?". Aimonn shook his head, almost sadly. "No. The men of this village will not interfere."
