Fred promptly disappeared, taking the magic coconut with him. Astra and Alfred looked at each other in dismay. "He might have taken us with him," Alfred said in an aggrieved tone.

"And he could at least have made my clothing visible again before he left. I suppose we'd better find Velus and tell him that Fred has gone."

  1. They did so.
  2. But they couldn't find Velus. Fred must have wished for him to be returned home too, leaving Alfred and Astra wondering why he hadn't done the same for them.
