Journey Under Escort

There are five of the men, and they all look as though they would know how
to
handle themselves in a fight. Fred and Astra reluctantly come to the same
conclusion: that the odds against them if they resisted would be too
heavy. They
allow the men to escort them out of a side door of the church and into a
waiting
stretch limousine.
This is the first automobile that Fred and Astra have ever been in, of course, and they would find the journey an interesting experience, except that unfortunately the windows in the back have been blacked out and so they can't see anything. After the sensation of intermittent rapid motion for half an hour or so, interspersed with stops which Fred and Astra don't realise are for traffic lights, they reach their destination:
