Reunited with Astra

"Hello, Astra," Princess Exotica said. So that was the warrior princess's name, Fred thought. (In this branch of the story he had never gotten around to finding out.)

"Hello, Exotica, and hello sir knight. So we meet again."

"My name is Fred, Princess," Fred told her, remembering that he hadn't yet introduced himself to her. "What happened to you? How did you get here, and why are you chained to a chair?"

"I was magically transported here. Presumably it amused the dragon to chain me to the chair in such a way that I am bent over it with my backside sticking up in the air...

1. "The chair is too heavy for me to move it."
2. "The chair is just light enough for me to lift, though not very high or for more than a couple of seconds at a time. So I can walk after a fashion, like some strange insect, using the two legs of my own and the four of the chair's."
