Struggle Without

Tarsa/Valmar spun about and used her legs to smash into Fred's face, flinging him onto the floor. She had hit him in just the right place to pinch some very precious nerves and Fred found himself suffering an almost out-of-body experience.

Tarsa then lept up high and landed on Sr. Sharon's shoulders, she pressed her thighs inwards, using them like a nutcracker against the sister's head. Sr. Sharon was both surprised and shocked... so much so that she failed to adequately respond. Within moments she had lost all her breath and lay motionless on the floor.

Karnbald was the last to be attacked, which gave him some moments to prepare. Hand-to-hand combat ensued while Fred crawled towards the unconscious form of Sr. Sharon.

Hand-to-hand became leg-to-leg as the two combatants whirled and spun, kicked and thwacked. Fred was barely conscious but he soon heard the sound of crunching bone and gutteral whimpers, he felt steaming sweat rain down upon his head but his eyes could not focus on anything and his arms and legs were nothing but useless.

Fred heard a thud, then silence. It engulfed the room, a near total silence but for the sound of breathing. Fred hoped that Karnbald was the victor but his hope turned to ash as he was turned over by the hands of Tarsa. "Tsk, tsk," she said, then she reached over to Sr. Sharon, lifted her head and smashed it to the ground; again and again she lifted and smashed, lifted and smashed until there was nothing but an ugly red and gray stain. Fred wanted to cry, he wanted to scream, he wanted to fight back, but he was nearly paralyzed and he was totally powerless.
