"This is strange," said Exotica. "That is my family's coat of arms - the
coat of arms
of the royal house of Allaria. Who can have painted it here, and
why?" "Odder yet,"
said Fred, "that angel looks awfully familiar." Exotica's attention had
been taken
by the coat of arms. Now she looked closely at the face of the statue for
the first time.
"Why, it's me!" she said. "Or at least, it would be if I had a pair of
wings. What does
it all mean?" "I have no idea," said Fred. "Perhaps we will find a clue in
that
enclosure behind the statue."
So they looked there...
