That old line again!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 58622

B'Elanna

Third Space Aliens, I sigh to myself. We would have to be in something of a Babylon 5 mood, eh?

Yeah, there had been that one agency by that name on that one displaced Earth back in Terra Prime reality (that and that one rather similarly named one on that other Earth orbiting the blue giant). (re: 9333).

. . .

Old business we had with the VLA and the various Bettys that culminated in two Bettys' Earths being relocaed (warped) into Terra Prime reality (with assist from the Rules and Agents). Long story we needn't go into here right now.

Just leave off saying that despite the mouth service each of those parties they give about this and that, at the bottom of it all they look bloody well identical. But that's just my opinion!

Must say that the guys who'd come into office after that contentious debacle in Florida (the Dems on one planet and the Repubs on the other). . . . both idiots looking for their village!

. . .

And those Earther whine and complain about Terra Prime taking a shorter period of time to gain full Federation Membership than they are suffering under (still nowhere near YET to qualifying)!

You need a world government and they're still in bloody hundreds and hundreds of nation states!

Nevermind!

"Now," I speak up. "That's the message our missing princess gave Artoo. Okay, nice that we have the means within our short and squat droid here to blast the Death Star to pieces, given enough time. However, we don't have much time here which I'll get to here in a moment. First, you probably would like to know just how we know so much about you and your plans?"

"That would be putting it mildly," Kenobi stated pointedly, gesturing that I continue.

I sigh slightly.

"Very well then," I begin, knowing that this is going to be a real mind bending revelation. "My group is not of this reality for one. It is different from this one. So different in fact that . . . . there your tale is a work of fiction. A scifi space opera who's opening lines go . . . ."

Oh, this is a Hell of a way to reveal things, but we don't really have time for niceties, do we?

  1. "A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away....," I continue.
