The door bursts in. Fred screams like a girl and hides under the sink. He
had heard of the newcomers. They were the Anti-Josh-Burbank-Squad, AKA
AJBS, former to protect this reality from Josh Burbank and any other
dynamic, epic threats. Fred scanned the group, recognizing everyone from their individual Wikipedia articles. The leader was a tall, muscled goth-type named Karie Wurler, former elementary school assistant principal and inventor of the Pocket Exploder. Behind them were Jim and Tim, the 'expendable twins', who had become invulnerable to small arms fire after investigating and destroying a haunted house that had appeared in the lobby of the Sears Tower. Following was Steve "Tiny" Turner, who, unlike most people with his nickname, was actually very tiny. Nobody knew how he could detect reality violations, not even himself. That, and an obsession with fandom cliches made him invaluable in fights against idiotic warlords, rampaging monsters and locked room mysteries in snow-bound resorts. And last but not least were Komiku and Adiuleh, two French teenagers who had a telepathic connection due to a failed mind-switching experiment. In addition to being black belts, they could also sense the existence of about half of all people, because of genetic similarities between the two and others. Also, they were just really, really smart.
