not the best case scenario

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 57884

Josh comes back with the flashlight to find the man dead from blood loss. The other people are clawing at the hole in the wall, trying to tear it down. Josh can only watch with a growing, gnawing, horrible premonition as lettering becomes visible on a... concrete wall that was not there before.

The people gasp in fear at the following words, written in what can only be blood in large letters:

Exit Closed, Try Again

His head in his hands, Josh sinks to the floor. He was trapped again. Sure, he was a weirdo and sure strange things were always happening to him, but he wasnt such a bad guy, was he? As tears begin to fall, Josh thinks on all the people he has hurt, shot, stabbed, otherwise maimed, or caused to explode. "I deserve this..." he mutters....

Ignoring the other people, he makes his way to the camping section, and sets up a tent. Crawling into it, he buries his head on his arms and weeps in regret.

Wow, this is depressing.

Lets fast forward 10 hours. What is going on?

  1. Everyone is sleeping. Josh, finally at peace, has decided to make the best of things.
  2. The people have started fighting amongst themselves. Josh is staying out of it, but there has already been one serious injury.
  3. There is something alive in the frozen food section, and everyone is afraid for their life.
  4. Josh gets up, explores the Sams Club in silent meditation.
