The Never Ending Quest - Episode 57869

Astra had been a little surprised to find horses underground. However the passages in this part of the cave system appeared mostly to be large enough and level enough that she could see that going on horseback would be practical. And the shortness of her dress [4756] would be an advantage when it came to riding.

Astra was a fine horsewoman, so she was not frightened of taking the fiery bay. She unhitched it, and swung easily into the saddle.

  1. She rode off down the tunnel ahead of her. She quickly realised that there was one disadvantage - lack of stealth. The shod hooves of the horse were very loud on the rock floor.
  2. But before she could set the horse in motion, a voice from behind her called: "Astra!" It was Fred.
