The stray round passed through the bird, out the other side of the tent
and then flew about 300 meters before embedding itself in a large oak
tree. Several hours later, a cluster bomb dropped and exploded the tree, throwing the slug into the air, where it spun around and around until it landed in a riverbed. Years later, an ignorant farmer located the round and sold it for scrap metal. He got a copper coin for it and considered himself lucky. The round itself was sent to be melted down in a Chernovostov steel mill. But along the way the truck driver, who had had too much to drink accidentally propelled his truck off the side of a cliff. The truck exploded in mid-air for some reason, and the round was thrown loose of the explosion. The round fell, hurtling down and down until it fell through a crevasse into a cavern of great natural beauty. No human had ever found this cavern before, even though the sparkling crystal and diamond formations within were worth a fortune. The round just continued to lie there for... quite a while, sadly unaware of the natural beauty all around it. Ten thousand years passed. Eventually the stray round was found by...
