an expected unexpected turn

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 56916

Josh Burbank suddenly shows up. This annoys him. He had finally found a particular episode of Dr. Quinn where she wrestled a grizzly bear to death and then ate it raw. It was only shown once on television before, but he had found it! Right as she charged the bear, there was a high-pitched whine, and here he was.

"You!" Josh exclaims, seeing Fred and Astra and the rest. "Awww..." he then kicks the dirt dejectedly. Jorn moves protectively in front of the party.

"Who might you be, friend or foe?" he asks, looking askance at Josh. "We want no trouble, but we will deal with you as need be."

"Right, right," says Josh. "look, guys and princesses and dogs and centaurs, I don't want any trouble either. However, I am kind of stuck with you until I can find a weak spot in this world and get home." At their looks of questioning, Josh just shakes his head "Don't ask. Teal couches, bad cable... eternity, look its just too long a story. But you don't want me with you long. Where are you headed at the moment?"

Lord Fred steps to the fore. "What business is that of yours, strange wizard? Now, begone from us. We are on official kingdom business."

"Fine, fine" says Josh, pulling out a collapsible chair and having a seat. He then opens a pack of 'Healthy Doritos'. "Ugh, these are gross. Anyway, go about your business. Unfortunately for you, I will keep popping up. This will lead to... randomness. You could of course try killing me. That sometimes sends me back. Other times, though, you just provoke the situation. "

Fred, Astra, Velus, and Jorn all look confused. However, they quickly make up their mind.

What do they decide to do?

  1. They leave this strange wizard behind. He spoke oddly, and looked odder even than that. Josh waves, continuing to eat his chips.
  2. Same as #1, but Josh immediately gets up and follows them.
  3. Lord Fred slays Josh by cutting off his head. "A clean death," says Lord Fred. Astra and Jorn look at him like he has lost his damn mind.
  4. They all join in, beating this stranger to death. Except Velus. Velus is frightened.
  5. They take the strange wizard with them. At least then they know he is not sabotaging them behind their back.
  6. Random Scott Chen appearance. Oh hell
