The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5666

Sir Toby sneaks on by.

Half a mile later he encountered the oddest thing. The path had narrowed, forcing him to walk sideways. Then in spread open. He stumbled forward. The wall behind him held many torches. In front of him was a staircase leading down into darkness. Well, that wasn't the odd part. What was odd was each and every stair was a MILE wide!

"Goodness." said Sir Toby.

He unsheathed his sword and went down.

  1. He stepped on the eleventh step without careful observation and went flying.
  2. Two miles the staircase went down. It ended at the edge of a mighty lake.
  3. Sir Toby meets the most optomistic woman alive.
  4. Ten steps down he discovered the next step was an illusion.
