Astra wiped spittle from her face. "I'm willing to forget it," she replied. "You've paid in full for what you did."

"What'th happened to your clotheth? You only jutht got yourthelf thomething to wear, and already you're naked again."

"I lost them in a poker game. I'm sure that the game must have been fixed."

"I thought that you were here to track down Thir Toby and kill him?"

"Well yes, but I never could resist a game of poker. Anyway, losing my clothes wasn't the worst. After that, there was only one thing remaining that I could stake:

1. "Myself. So when I lost yet again I became the slave of Dangerous Dan McGrew."
2. "You. Sorry, Fred. But I'm sure that being a slave won't be so bad."
3. "Velus. He is now the pet of a little old lady who, I may tell you, is a phenomenal poker player. She doesn't know that he's really a boy."
