Fred's squire, about two feet shorter then he was, pulls up on his
donkey. "Carlton, you moron." said Fred. "Why did you bring your ass into the caves?" "My ass was cold and it was hungry." Fred stared at a random wall and rolled his eyes, as if he was addressing some sort of audience. Carlton was worried, Fred did that every once a while, sometimes even pausing and saying nothing after something funny was said. Of course, it was clear that what to Fred was funny was not funny to him because they came from two different areas of Allaria. And what was funny to Fred usually involved humiliating Carlton.
