The very tall, very redheaded maiden was none other then Princess Astra, who had been freed by whatever magic had allowed the two to originally exit the caves.
Both ladies wanted to re-enter the cave and confirm the dragon was dead. Plus, Astra was concerned about some other ladies she knew...
Fred pointed out that both princesses were naked and unarmed.
