Standing there was an oddly dressed character who spoke to Fred.

"Hello noble knight" the stranger greeted him "I am Gruniga, the wandering minstrel magician. I sensed that some magically mischief was taking place and felt that I must intervene.

Fred thanked his rescuer and then ...

1. Said goodbye to Gruniga and set out on his quest
2. Thanked Gruniga and asked if there was any deed he could do for him.
3. Broke down in tears for he felt the feminine form had relieve him of his knightly burdens.
