The Janeways stop by the party for a few minutes. They are happy to see such a drastic change has not dampened the spirits of the crew much.
There is some laughter as a new fur from Engineering sits on her own tail but it's all in good fun.
Ensign Barry is praciticing walking about barefoot. No need for such on a furry-ship. (Furry uniform leggings are designed to strech into stockings at the press of a button, in case of an emergency. But barring none, furs like to go barefoot. Why not?)
But there is a darker shadow to this party. Disguised as a talented, but shy sciences Ensign, is a time traveler from...

  2. the future.
  3. the present. The time machine really didn't work very well.
  4. the future. But then the shy ensign and her double enter the party unexpectedly, having been given time off and direct orders to socialize.
