Sammy Encounters a Large Frog in the Wilderness and Other Meaningless Drivel

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 54615

Indeed this was caused to be occurring as such (as is suggested in the title of this episode). Sammy had ventured a little farther than usual on this particular night and was soon altogether lost.

Then it was to happen in all probability that he should stumble upon a frog on a log in the midst of a fog in a bog. Not just any frog, mind you, but a BIG frog as it is wont to be existing in the parameters of our conjuncture in this gradual redundancy that is to be the fruition of our efforts applied here in this context. “RIBBIT,” it croaked in a loud and reverberant voice.

“Oh dear,” meowed Sammy. “You’re a remarkably large fellow, aren’t you, old chap?”

The frog merely sat there displaying the same emotionless visage. “RIBBT.”

“Aherm, yes, indeed,” the cat replied meekly. “You must be good at poker. Not one for conversation, I suppose. Very well. I will leave you in peace so you can return to whatever it was you were doing.”

But not so fast, Sammy! No, that fickle bitch called fate has other intentions.

The frog opens it’s huge mouth and unleashes it’s long-reaching tongue at Sammy! Oh no!

Sammy aint going down that easy, though. He dodges the tongue just in time and carries out a well-timed counter attack, lunging at the frog in a full on frontal assault. The frog dies then. Sammy urinates on it’s corpse afterwards, just to be thorough.

“Amphibious bastard,” he says in an abrasive whisper, utter contempt infused in his words. “You f*ck with me and this is what happens, you slimy-ass fool! Now rot, bitch! ROT!”

Mother Nature is so cruel.

  1. Sammy encounters a possum soon after.
  2. Sammy feels remorse for killing the frog and give it a proper Christian burial. Problem is, the frog was a Buddhist.
