"My, my, what a lovely lunch!" said a chorus of the faeries.
"Yes, yes, yes!!!" agreed a cackle more. "Poor, poor Audrey," said another. "Now gone she be...and yet here with us." "Yep, yep, yep," said a very small pixie. "Big, Bad Freddy go chop-chop to poor, poor Audrey but we eat him all up, and Audrey too!" "And the other human too!" sang a trio of wartwompers flittering to the left of the pixie. "And the other human too!" And so it was. Faeries, not being human at all, had not the human moral impulse. They sang, they flittered, they wandered, they danced, and they ate. Their favorite food was tulip juice of course, everyone knew that. But if some strange human was going to hurt one of their kind, they would eat him too, and since there was another in the gory mess they didn't want anything to go to waste. And as for poor, poor Audrey, they loved her so much that they wanted to have a memento and what better thing than to have a piece of her within their stomachs?! As I said before, Faeires are an odd creation to say the least. "What do we with this?" asked one of the wartwompers. The slim creature had lifted the flaming axe that the resurrected Lord Fred had had. "Bad, bad, bad thingy!" cried out a sixpence of brownies. "We take it and kill it!" And before the wartwomper knew what was happening the troupe of brownies grabbed the flaming axe and started heaving it to and fro. Unfortunately the axe was so unweildy for the pint-sized creatures that they lost control of it and accidently hit a she-sprite dozing by a lily. It only knicked her wing, really, but seeing that it was a magical axe it took her whole shoulder off! "Really, Really Bad, Bad Thingy!!!" cried the brownies even louder than before. They twirled uncontrollably for a period of 15 seconds and in those moments they decapitated three lollies, sliced the abdomens of two goodie-shoes and took the fur off of one heretofore smiling crag. Then the brownies just dropped it and scampered away. And so would have the rest of the faeries until a he- pixie got hungry again. "Foodie, foodie!!!" he cried out. "Let us eat, let us play, let us eat and play today!!!" And so with a hurrah and huzzah, the faeries began devouring their fallen comrades, and then being so full they immediately went to sleep. As I have said before, Faeries are a strange group of beings entirely.
