Not wanting to risk something unfortunate, Astra put her head up to the
door’s keyhole and listened in (Which suppressed Fred. The way she’d been
acting earlier, he’d expected her to kick the door open). After a few seconds, you motioned Fred to come over. When he listened, her heard the sound of burning wood, strange chanting, and a high pitch scream. Astra gave Fred a grim glance and then said “Sounds like either a prison or cult of some sort. I’d rather take the lift”. For the first time, Fred, agreed with her. He couldn’t quite figure out why. Despite that fact that he’d heard noises like the ones through the door multiple times in his life, he was for some reason shaken this time. They had just turned to leave when they heard the scream again, now louder and clearer than before. Never in his life had Fred heard a scream that sounded so horrifying.Fred took a deep breath, and said “We might still be able to save the victim if we hurry”. Astra kept silent, but knew what Fred meant.
