The Old Lady At The Information Booth ... or Chess And You: A Beginner's Guide To Idiocy

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5422

The impossibillity of the tiny city so confuses you that you are soon lost.
Fortunately there is an information booth behind a large cluster of those pointy things that pointy up. (You never quite paid attention in geology class).
The booth is made of marble and wood. It is rectangular, with an employee's entrance on the far side. The signs and walls are done in a purple and red motif, something you have always found ugly. Three upward pointy things had been filed down. On top of it was a chessboard.
The only employee on duty is a little old lady, with poofy white hair, big glasses, a blue dress, a cane, red slippers and a magic sword dripping with power.

  1. You ask for information.
  2. You ask about the sword.
  3. You ask for a dance.
  4. You ask and ask but she is hopelessly senile.
  5. You challenge her to a chess game. She is so bad at it that the laws of physics literally break down.
  6. You realize the old lady is your father in disguise.
