Fred and Josh stood back, their hands still grasping their sword hilts,
as the cowboy dinosaurs (or were they dinosaur cowboys?) began to engage
the ninja zombies (or were they zombie ninjas?). Suddenly, yet more splashes echoed around the chamber. Out of the water rose several pirates. They were wearing tricorn hats, cutlasses and large crimson sashes, the garb of the Sea Vipers, a loose alliance of buccanneers from the east coast of one of the countries that bordered the Kingdoms' Southern Borders. But there were two crucial differences. One, the Sea Vipers did not have hypnotic powers and two, they were not cybernetic organisms. The taste of ozone and chromium was phenomenal. The instant Josh and Fred tasted the ozone, the pirates . . .
