The Odd Couple

Velus (currently in human form) answered: "I was skulking. I do that a lot. Say, is it true what I've heard, that you are bigger on the inside than you are on the outside?"

"How else do you think I managed to eat the teal couch? So why are you here?"

"I thought that you could use someone familiar with the layout of these caves. Besides I wasn't going to pass up a chance to ogle the naked Princess Astra."

"Fair enough. Which way do we go, then?"

"We take the left-hand entrance, then the third passage on the right, followed by the second on the left. That should take us to where she's chained up."

1. Sure enough, it does.
2. The chains are there, but Astra is gone. It seems that she has managed to escape by her own efforts. Or maybe some pesky knight has freed her.
3. But there is no sign of Astra or that anyone was ever chained up there. Perhaps Velus's memory of the caves isn't all it might be?
