The Never Ending Quest - Episode 53768

It's the 3-5 doldrums. Sort of. Usually, at this time, there would be very few customers at all. Bob and/or Andrew, the usual managers, would let the crew goof off and listen to Classic Rock at this time, if all the big chores got done.
That's what would happen on a normal day.
Right now, at 4:10, Josh is circling the Burger King at a high rate of speed, making bizarre gestures and scaring the hell out of all and sundry.
Crystal is hiding in the meat locker, which is not a good idea as it's lockable from the inside and nobody has seen her enter.
Dan Fogelbert, contemplates trying to run outside for his cellphone, which he had left in the car. The store's phones are not working. Unknown to all, Josh had clipped the machinery.

  1. More hiding ensues.
  2. Bob waits, then flings a crate of frozen fries out the drive-thru window. Josh is knocked clean off the vehicle, which crashes into some trees.
  3. Josh spotaneously combusts and the burning pyre of the forklift careens into traffic. Several Chinese pedestrians lose huge balloons while escaping.
  4. Cops arrest Josh. Crystal is never found again, even though a helpful cop searches the meat locker from wall to wall.
