The Blind Goblin

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 53592

As two the continued on, little do they realize that they had left Velus behind, sniffing the rest of the wine cellar, since they had other things on their minds (Fred was now in a very bad mood and Astra was using all of her might not to giggle).

They continued pacing there way through of the wine cellar, seeing nothing else interesting or of value, when they started hearing screams, roars, laughter, glass break, and horrible, horrible, singing from afar. It wasn't long before they came across a door holding the source of the noise.

"I wonder what could be in here" said Astra sarcastically. Both of them knew this was the dragon's troop's rest lounge. You see one dragon's troop's rest lounge, you've seen them all.

Fred was just about to ask Astra how she proposed to get through the room when the door began to creek open.

The pair didn't have time to hide. Fred drew his weapon while Astra grabbed the nearest bottle of wine (Dragon's Blood. It's just name of the wine) from the nearest shelf and got it in a throwing position. But when the door open, all that came out was a very old, worn out, frail looking, female goblin, holding an empty but dirty tray.

Fred lowered his weapon while Astra lowered her bottle of Dragon's Blood. The old goblin didn't seem to take any notice of either of them. "Now lets see" the old goblin mutters, closing the door behind her (and thankfully, none of the troops in the rest lounge noticed them through the doorway. "One, two, three, four, five, and she continued counting and walking forward until Fred and Astra both had to move out of the way. "Fred" Astra gasped. "She's blind!"

"Did somebody say something?" said the old goblin, turning her head. Fred and Astra froze. She must have assumed it was nothing because she continued walking forward, and counting. After a few more steps, she came to a complete stop, did a 90 degree turn to her left, and then amazingly, walk right through the wall.

Fred and Astra were dumbstruck. They each stared at it for about 5 more minutes when Astra spoke. "Perhaps we've found our solution to getting past those troops." Fred shook his head. "For all we know, it leads to even more and powerful troops.

”Then what do you suggest we do?”

Fred scanned the area and then exclaimed “I’ve got it!” He walked over to a rusty old latter, sitting in the far corner and carried it over. “Look above the door! Do you see that hole? I’ll bet that’ll lead us right over all of these troops. We can get out of here without any detection at all.”

Astra still looked unconvinced. “I sincerely doubt they’re going to be stronger troops inside that wall if they’d want it hidden. Besides, my bet is that it leads to the kitchen, judging by the poor goblin’s tray, and besides, I don’t mind a few fights. After being chained up for as long as I was, you’ll be looking for something to stretch your muscles a little bit.”

”But we risk being seen!” says Fred, irritably. Being seen by just one troop could alert the whole cave of our presence, not to mention humiliate us, with the condition’s we’re in-“

”So that’s it, is it? You just don’t want anyone to see you in you’re little panties. I’m right, aren’t I” says Astra.

Fred’s face went pure red. ”No, that’s not it!” says Fred raising his voice. “I was saying that more for your sake. After all, Imagine what they’ll do to you if they find you naked-“

”It’s already been done many time before” says Astra, coldly. I’m used to it by now. Besides, I’m proud of the way my body looks. I wish I could say the same for you.”

The two continued to argue until…

  1. They finally decided to take Astra's path through the invisible wall.
  2. They finally decided to take Fred's path through the hole above the door.
  3. They were caught by the blind goblin, who came out of the invisible wall.
  4. Say, what's Velus up to right now?
  5. They each decide to take their own paths. I guess that's it for their companionship.
