Fred Discovers A Secret Library After Running From The Dragon
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5348

Fred flees the dragon. He leaps a small pit, dodges through an array of
swinging blades, climbs a rope ladder and slides up a Reversed Path
slide. He falls off hard and lands on a grumpy, foul-smelling humanoid. "Ack!" says Fred, leaping up and away. He discovers he is in a small library, about thirty feet wide. The walls and the few free standing shelves are jammed with books. No empty spaces. And even the floor had quite a few stacks. Every book was kept in well condition, indicating that someone visited this place a lot. No other entrance or exit or hole in the wall was visible. "Ack, ptui!" said the person he landed on. They had rolled behind one of the shelves in the chaos. "I always knew the Reverse Spell on my entrance hatch would backfire." The landing surface stood up, holding a couple books. The top one was 'Eating Monsters - The Cooking Guide For Hungry Questers'. "You!" said Lord Fred. "I never expected you!" So who was it already? P.S. Not to worry about Velus, dear readers. He was exactly twenty six seconds from jumping into the magically enscrolled hole and landing on Fred's neck. Both would be bruised but fine.
