The cookies contain several top-secret chemicals that increase patriotism. Josh goes to apply at the Staircase Room recruitment station.
Sgt. L.T. Smash takes his feet off a cermaic dog sculpture and stands up. "Hello, son!" he bellows while grinning. "Come to join the Army?"
"Yes, sir! But first, one question!"
"Fire away!" says Smash, sounding even more enthused then before.
"How come you've never left this area to investigate the craziness that has gone on in the Staircase Room? For crying out loud, I can see the teal couch from here!"

  1. Smash has no explanation.
  2. Smash explains that he honestly though Josh and the rest were an HBO TV series.
  3. Smash kindly explains that he is just an hallucination Josh is imagining, caused by overwork and too much sex.
  4. Scott bursts into the office, covered with peppermint candies, confetti, tinsel, honey mustard, breading, chimp hairs and holding several boxes of fake human eyeballs. He screams something about the Illumanati and faints dead away.
