He Meets Some Danger

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5307

Fred continues on. The floor rises up out of the water. Fred shakes from the chill. The corridor gets thinner. Fred sees the strata of millenea of rock action. Occasionally he sees scarring on the wall as if there were sword battles. He also sees the distinctive scarring of centaur pee (centaurs could fit, magically, where all human men could). Soon, in a spot of corridor exactly like the last half mile, he meets a half-rat-half- hafling humanoid thing with warts. Fred had no idea where it came from. Perhaps it cast Teleport? It was a rare spell that worked better the less mass the caster had. "Argh!" it screamed in a gravely smoker's voice. "I will stab you with my sword!"
The humanoid pulls out a half-rusted dagger.

  1. Fred turns and run.
  2. Fred illogically asks where the centaurs are.
  3. Fred kills the beastie.
  4. Fred, using diplomacy, recruits the ugly halfling to his side.
  5. Fred Fred Fred Fred Fred.
  6. The halfling kills Fred. The story follows him.
  7. "Hoot-Hoot!" Fred cries.. "I recognize you now! You ran the preschool I attended!"
