Seat of Evil

"Why have you come back, my son?" the King said. "Have you slain the dragon already? If so, then step forward to receive my kiss and my blessing!"

"I... I have not yet completed my quest," Fred said. "You majesty... I came to ask you... is this true?"

He held up the newspaper. The King raised one eyebrow. "And just what might that happen to be, may I ask you?"

"It is a newspaper... from the future... which claims that you plan to kill all the obese women in the country! Please, my liege, tell me that this isn't really your intention!"

"Yes, I'm going to kill them," the King said without blinking. "Do you hope to oppose me?"

Fred cried out as he felt a massive evil energy emanate from the King and seize him in its grasp. "Yes..." the King said, with a rumbling, inhuman note in his voice. "I can tell your devotion to me is flagging. You are not worthy of the fat-free utopia I plan to create. Meditate upon your failure - in the Dungeon!"

And so Fred was hurled down into the abysmal pits of the castle Dungeon. Hundreds of yards below the ground, these hellish chambers had not seen light in thousands of years. Fred took out his torch and lit it, and screamed as he saw skeletons strewn all about.

1. Search the Room.
2. Take the exit north.
3. Take the exit southeast.
