The Most Annoying Man in the world's name was Steve. He was sitting at his
roommate's computer spamming his twenty-eight message board of the day
when the door slammed. Steve looked up to see his roommate Jeff, the
Unluckiest Man in the World, walk into the small apartment. "Nyooooooooo Jeffiepoo!!" Steve called out. "I'm sorry, I clogged the toilet again. Just piss in the sink, its what I do when I don't have time. Hey, I just met this hot chick on the internet, but she wanted my credit card number, so I gave her yours. Is that cool? Coo' cool?" Jeff seemed not to hear. "I got fired again." he said numbly. "I can't believe they would fire me on my birthday... right after I got the news that my entire family died in that train wreck." Steve turned back to the computer and started singing the lyrics to Sir Mixalot's "Baby Got Back". Jeff wandered over to the refrigerator and opened it to find all his beers empty and stacked in a pyramid on the fridge shelf. "Steve." Jeff said darkly. There was a strange glimmer in his eyes, which Steve might have caught if he wasn't too busy ordering internet pizza to everyone on the block... "IT IS ALMOST HIS TIME." Death said. "YOU WILL TAKE HIS SOUL TO HIS ETERNAL REWARD. IT WILL BE YOUR FIRST TRAINING MISSION. DO NOT FAIL ME." Death outstretched his bony claw and Astra's white dress transformed into a black hooded robe similar to the one Death wore. A shiny scythe appeared in her hand. "I'll..I'll do my best." Astra said hesitantly. The scythe was very heavy, and the robe smelled foul and itched her bare skin. A swirling magic portal appeared before her, through which she could barely make out the outline of a cluttered apartment room, in which one man was slowly walking toward another one seated in front of a glowing box.
