Fuming at the man's unreasonable attitude, Fred carried Alicia off into
the forest and away from the town. Alicia had spoken of others who had
been transformed just as he and she had been, and had been about to lead
him to them. [321] But then he had got it into his head that he needed to
resume his quest and that he could manage to get back to his homeland in
order to do so. He realised now just how impractical that idea was. Any
human that he encountered now was likely to be hostile, like that man had
been. His best bet would be to find the other victims of Minestus that
Alicia had mentioned, and team up with them, but how could he find them?
