"But he can't have complete control of what happens to us. Otherwise we wouldn't have spotted that manuscript that the janitor said we weren't supposed to have seen. Or have been able to avoid him killing you, for that matter."

"It must be that the episode in question was written by someone who is on our side. But we can't rely on that happening again. Perhaps there's an Internet-connected PC somewhere in this museum."
