Fred's psychotic rampage in a 1950's department store gets him a revolver round to the shoulder. As Fred is a fictional character, this doesn't do much but make him grimace in pain. Thankfully, for the innocent people still hiding in the store, Fred's insanity makes him fall asleep on a pile of belts. So how did Fred get to the future anyway?

  1. Belboz had betrayed him.
  2. Dragonic defenses.
  3. King Emry had mighty protection spells (Fred had gone really mad).
  4. Bad writing.
