Fred abandons his quest and sullies the name of his family by becoming a
fisherman on the Eastern Seas of his homeland. He becomes good friends
with a pirate named 'One-Eyed Jack' and an old sailor named 'Bert'.
The three men share many adventures on the open sea. They battled a sea creature that liked to kidnap pregnant lasses. They fought back an invasion of elves from another dimension. And once, in an incident that would be sung about for ten thousand years, the three of them alone turned back an invasion of armored warriors from beyond time. About a year later, Fred is sitting at the spot he washed up at. (The skeleton had long been given a proper burial). The sun was shining brightly, the waves were warm and inviting and a couple nearby birds were singing their heart out. Suddenly, the water roiled and boiled and a figure came flying out. It thumped into the sand. Lord Fred ran over and helped the person to their feet. "Thank you." the person gasped. "I've come to kill the dragon. My name is ... "
