Josh Burbank In the World Of 'The Stand'

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 52108

Josh Burbank has set up a small life in the former City Hall in the town of Bundle, Idaho. According to several yellowing, increasingly desperate, smaller and smaller newspapers stacked in a corner of the lobby, a disease had swept the word early in the year 1980.
Called 'Captain Trips' it was like the flu but it outright killed the fuck out of you. A nation fell per day. In fact, it seemed Idaho was the last bastion of civilization.
Or not. It was hard to tell.
The last few editions were supposed to be single sheets telling where people were headed, where supplies were, how to skin a cow, how to filter water...but inevitability the survival information would switch to ramblings about a man in blue and an old woman in brown and how one would kill the other.
And it wasn't even clear who would win.
One day, when it was raining softly but pleasantly, there was a knock on the City Hall delivery entrance. Josh looked down from the second floor atrium window.
Who was knocking?

  1. Martin O'Malley, celebrated circus strongman with purple eyes.
  2. Scott Childers and Scott Chen.
  3. That man from before, Roland.
  4. The girl in the wheelchair.
  5. A man in blue.
  6. An old woman in brown.
  7. Barry Gooners, -another- rich, socially awkward moron.
  8. Felina, a woman who is half skunk.
  9. Tammy, a chatty Blockbuster video employee.
  10. Evil McSqueezin's, Josh's evil twin.
