Fleeing Into More Weirdness

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 52016

Stacy flees, just too weirded out.
Then she stumbles upon a huge archway set a hundred feet back from the road. Twenty foot high brick walls, a hundred feet wide, funnel creatures from all sorts of mythologies to and from the arch.
Several benches, trees and info kiosks line the middle.
Dully, feeling a vague sense of deja vu, Stacy picks up a discarded brochure and sits on a flower pot rim.
Several people pass close by. Three of them had tails and cat ears and one had ten fingers on each hand.
Stacy realizes this should weird her out but it doesn't.
"So, You've Decided To Travel To Other Dimensions." said the brochure. And in bright red letters, on the bottom, it said 'WARNING: IF MEMORY LOSS OCCURS, YELL 'CODE ORANGE' AS LOUD AS YOU CAN'.
Stacy stuffs the brochure in her pocket and yells 'Code Orange!'. Not very loud as social behaviors stifle her cry.
Everyone looks at her anyway.
Then the crowd parts and several figures approach.

  1. They are friendly looking and promote a feeling of peace. Stacy goes with them.
  2. They are seven feet tall and dressed in shining black armor. Fear shoots through Stacy. She runs, successfully escaping them.
  3. Same as 2 but she fails to run and they surround her.
  4. One of the be-tailed women flicks her fingers. Everyone but Stacy and the woman walk backwards for five seconds, then start again. "SHH!" said Tail-y. "Don't say those words!"
