"How do we know you're telling the truth?" asked Gregorio the troll.

"Truth?" said Mikelophilus. "What is 'truth'?"

"What do you mean what is truth?" said Fred. "It's the opposite of deceit!"

"And what is 'deceit'?" asked the man who now had a very perplexed look on his face.

"Stay right there, Mikey," said Belboz.

The three companions huddled together and spoke in whispers. "This is crazy - that guy doesn't know what the truth is." "Or a lie!" "How can anyone exist and NOT tell a lie, its...its human nature!" "Whoa, hold on there Belboz. I do not lie as a habit. Yet it is true that I know the difference between what is true and what is not. This is most strange." "And what if he's telling the truth?" "What do you mean? He's obviously lying! Otherwise we're not in the Southern Caves anymore." "Well, where IS that dragon anyway?" "Forget the dragon right now, what about this Mikey?" They bantered and argued and discussed for six more minutes and then they had their decision.

1. They continued to follow the man named Mikelophilus.
2. They said their goodbyes and turned back towards the way from which they had come.
