The Never Ending Quest - Episode 49942

Carola's watch passed without incident, although as the night drew on she felt more and more uneasy. She grew increasingly certain that there was someone watching her just out of her field of vision, but every time she turned to look for it, it was nowhere in sight. But she had seen nothing by the time that Jarlath took over from her and she settled into a fitful and restless sleep. She didn't dream anything, but felt the same undefined fear that had been hanging over her all day.

Hours later, she felt a sharp fear as she felt something shaking her, but as her eyes opened she saw that it was only Jarlath, trying to wake her up. When she woke up, she saw that

  1. There was nothing wrong, although she still felt even more worried than she had once she fell asleep.
  2. Belinda and Matthias had gone. Their warrior rabbit nature had finally triumphed over their human nature and they'd run off into the wilderness.
  3. The camp was surrounded by soldiers.
